Volunteer Roles

Volunteering for PWN Barcelona or for the PWN Global federation is a great way for you to learn how to practice what Forbes magazine calls, “permission leadership” or leadership without authority. Working in a non-profit organisation is one of the best experiences you can have. You will learn and grow and most importantly, leave a legacy.

If you need more convincing, take a look at some of the inspiring stories of our PWN members and volunteers. See how PWN has helped each of them both personally and professionally to overcome old, and face new challenges- that's the power of volunteering.

PWN Barcelona – Opportunities!

We are currently recruiting volunteers to support us with mentoring, membership, events, community relations, corporate and in-kind partnerships. This is an opportunity to be part of an engaged global community to promote gender equality and diversity, and to join the growing team of PWN Barcelona! When you join our team of dedicated volunteers, you will be able to develop your own ideas, learn new skills alongside your professional experience, and make a contribution to our community.

Please note that PWN Barcelona is a volunteer-based organization. All staff members are non-remunerated volunteers, giving up their time alongside their own professional activity.

All PWN staff must be Premium Members. If you are not currently a Premium Member you may still apply, but you must confirm your membership to be accepted to the position.
Application Process:

Please send an email to board@pwnbarcelona.net and we will follow up with you to schedule a telephone interview. In your email please include a motivational paragraph, explaining and describing what led you to volunteer, how you see yourself contributing to the network and what roles interest you. Describe your experiences and share with us your energy!
Your email and notes from the interview will be presented for Board discussion and approval.
If you can’t find a volunteer role in the list below, but you want to offer your support, please contact us at board@pwnbarcelona.net
